The Club has four squads that are based on a combination of age and ability, and each squad have their own sessions:

1) The Squids squad comprises of non-swimmers through to stroke improvers working towards various badges.

2) The Sea Lions squad comprise swimmers still learning stroke technique and badges.

3) The Dolphins squad comprises some of the younger competitive swimmers who are aiming to join the gala teams and for County qualifying times.

4) The Phoenix squad comprises most of the Club's competitive swimmers.

 

If you are interested in joining the Club, please contact our New Registrations Secretary or email us at info@cirencesterswimmingclub.co.uk.

You will then be asked to attend a “Swim Test” to assess which squad you will fit into best.

When a position in the squad becomes available, you will receive a phone call offering you a place in the squad. If you accept this, you will be told the squad and session times that your child as been accepted into, and Membership forms will be sent to you for filling in and returning.

Once a Club member, you will be required to pay two different membership fees. The first is the Registration fee that is due annually in January, this fee covers any registration fees the Club is required to pay. The second fee is the Squad fee that is due monthly by standing order. This fee is averaged over the 12 months and includes a small number of cancelled sessions.
